Hypertension Conference: Beyond the Numbers is a hybrid event which aims to provide updates from diagnosis to management.

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and The British and Irish Hypertension Society (BIHS) present a one-day educational event on the investigation and management of hypertension.  Join us for an opportunity to learn from skilled faculty, including internationally recognised experts in hypertension research, clinical practice, and leadership. Enhance your current practice, refine your clinical skills, and gain confidence in managing patients with high blood pressure.

Intended outcomes:

By attending this conference, you’ll be able to:

  • Receive updates on hypertension management guidelines.
  • Enhance your understanding of secondary causes and investigation timing.
  • Find out more about the future of hypertension care in the UK, with an emphasis on prevention and early diagnosis.
  • Understand hypertension emergencies and the BIHS position statement.
  • Boost your confidence in managing hypertension alongside co-morbid conditions.

To consolidate your learning, we record all sessions and make them available to all registered delegates for up to a month after the conference.
This conference offers 6 CPD for everyone who attends. This can be claimed via your College account. CPD points will be available after the conference as well as recordings of any sessions you missed. You can download your digital CPD certificate from your College account. If you have any questions about claiming your CPD points, our the RCPSG Education team are happy to help.
