ASM2024

The 43rd BIHS Annual Scientific Meeting was held at The Bridgewater Hall in the centre of Manchester – the home of the Hallé Orchestra, and the annual dinner took place amongst the exhibits within the Manchester Museum right in the historic centre of the University.
We trialed a revised programme spread over two full days, which is something that we hadn't done for several years, but still maintained the breadth of the meeting, and the number of oral presentations remained the same. There was focus on novel antihypertensive therapies, including the newer weight loss drugs, and  Professor Sadaf Farooqi FRS gave the Pickering lecture.
