Dr Nidhi Bhargava Dr Bhargava is a GP trainer working for last 17 years. She has been a GPwSI in cardiology Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust doing regular clinics in Wycombe hospital for last 13 years. | Liz Denver Liz is a Registered Nurse and set up the Nurse Led Hypertension Clinic at the Whittington Hospital in 2000. A paper published in Diabetes Care in 2003: 'Management of Uncontrolled Hypertension in a Nurse-Led Clinic Compared with Conventional Care for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes' showed the positive impact of the clinic. In 2019 Liz was a member of the Hypertension in Adults: diagnosis and management NICE Guideline committee. She retired in July 2021 but still teaches. |
Alison Warren Alison is a Consultant Pharmacist in Cardiology working in both primary and secondary care across Sussex. She qualified as a pharmacist from Bath University and has over 25 years of experience in cardiology. She has an MSc in Cardiology and as an independent prescriber manages patients across a range of cardiac conditions. She is passionate about improving the prevention and care of people living with heart conditions. | Dr Tim Doulton Tim has been a Consultant Nephrologist at East Kent Hospitals University NHS FT (EKHUFT) for 15 years, a BIHS accredited hypertension specialist and lead for the EKHUFT clinic/service. He is highly research-active, having been PI for numerous commercial and non-commercial CTIMPs in nephrology and hypertension over the last 10-15 years, and is CRN:KSS co-lead for renal disorders studies. |
Dr Philip Lewis Dr Philip Lewis trained at St Thomas's Hospital, London where he was an Open Scholar and subsequently did his postgraduate research and training at St Mary's Hospital, London. He was unusually trained at Senior Registrar level in Cardiology, General Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Intensive Care, Allergy, Gastroenterology and Diabetes. His extensive experience and knowledge has given him a reputation for solving problems of diagnosis and treatment where multiple conditions and therapies interact. His core practice is centred around cardiovascular diseases and hypertension. |
