It is well known that CV diseases are highly prevalent, and responsible for much chronic morbidity, and excess mortality. Equally, especially in the pandemic and the aftermath, the impact on personal mental health of general lifestyle stresses, and, from having physical illness or disability, is a major concern to patients, carers and medical/allied healthcare practitioners. Understanding how mental health challenges can impact on the CV system - for example, by chronic stress, anxiety, raised blood pressure, smoking, alcohol, recreational and therapeutic drugs - is a key factor in identifying current risks and introducing mitigation strategies. Chronic CV disease itself can impact negatively on mental health. There is a risk of a vicious feedback loop between these different conditions, often catered for by different non-linked healthcare teams. We want in this webinar to lay out the nature of these complex interdependencies, and to discuss best ways / practice to mitigate the negative impacts and outcomes.\n\n DTSTART:20260114T170000Z DTEND:20260114T180000Z LOCATION:Online END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
